I was able to be seen and operated on by Mr Shah at very short notice at excellent facilities in spite of the pandemic. He is very reassuring and takes the time to listen to any of my concerns or queries.

Throughout my care Dr Shah has been erudite, compassionate, and very avuncular. In explaining the complexities of my injury he has been clear and easy to understand, without compromising the details or simplifying technicalities to the extent of limiting my decision making abilities. As is often the case in medicine, the exact cause of an injury or the time it will take to heal may not always be clear. When and where this has been the case during my treatment, Dr Shah has always been honest and forthcoming about the shortcomings and interpretive nature of certain tests. He has favoured further and more extensive testing to invasive surgery at all junctures, which has been comforting and is very much appreciated. He has an excellent, friendly bedside manner and is by all accounts a good man.

Mr Zameer shah... Has been like a rock for me,he recognised early on the pain I was in and the difficulties I was having and pushed things through for me to get fast track results,where as else where I wasn’t getting anywhere and going round in circles.he was also friendly helpful and informative,broke things down for me to understand and reassured me about the op itself,putting my mind at rest and squashing any worries I had.answered all my questions and let me know about all the changes in my life after the op. Being realistic and not just telling me what I want to hear... He carried out the op and came to see me in hospital next day,where I was recovering (which was great and he showed me the time to check I was ok and go through the op and it’s success with me) He has been in contact many times and guided me all the way with information and was available when I contacted him with few questions after I left the hospital. Honestly I cannot fault mr Shah and am so thankful and grateful to him for taking care of me and doing a perfect job on me! Mr shah is excellent and an absolute asset to the medical team at blackheath BMI and I can’t thank him enough for making my op a success and giving me my life back,pain free and cured and I have bounced back to 100% myself again. From the moment I was transferred to his care I was reassured and treated with the utmost care; my family and I always felt I was in good hands. Mr Shah was always available to answer all my questions and spent the time that was needed to explain my situation, my surgeries, my rehabilitation and my prognosis; I never felt rushed. He was open to other views and throughout my time under his care, I was certain I was being cared for by a professional and talented doctor, who is both skilled and patient-centered. During three years and 3 surgeries (2 under his care) I was encouraged and pushed to continue with my rehabilitation. I am not where I want to be but I know that I can push myself and Mr Shah always encouraged me to keep pushing; he is excellent at motivating safe progress. Thank you Mr Shah, for all you have done for me and my family.

I was referred to doctor shah by my health provider. He has been amazing from the first appointment. I was involved in motorbike accident and with his help I am healed. He was prompt with every appointment and very friendly. His knowledge is brilliant and he was very good at explaining every procedure so I understood. He already greeted me with a smile and I always left feeling better. I cannot recommend him enough.
